Supporting Earth Hour 2022

Earth Hour is a renowned campaign to raise public awareness to take sustainable actions against climate change. Again, we pledged to support Earth Hour by switching off lights at 8:30 pm on 26 March.
As this year’s theme is “Habits Protect Habitats”, we support the idea to develop new habits to save our nature. This year, we hope to further spread the message and encourage colleagues to make the following changes on March 25:
- Switch off unnecessary power supplies during lunchtime;
- Carry reusable lunch boxes and tableware instead of buying takeaways with disposables.
Don’t forget to join us in switching off lights for Earth hour this Saturday. Let us join hands together in environmental protection!

Providing a safe working environment for our employees

The Hong Kong community is confronting the latest alarming wave of Covid-19 outbreaks. In addition to customer satisfaction, our employees’ safety and health are our top priority. To ensure they work in a safe working environment, we adopted the following proactive policies:
- Hiring professionals to perform quality coronavirus deep-cleaning services to safeguard our workplace.
- Offering COVID-19 rapid testing kits for employees. Only employees with negative results are allowed to work in our workplace. In case employees or their close contacts are tested positive, employees are required to undergo quarantine to have rest and help keep COVID-19 from spreading.
- Changing office hours to avoid the peak-hour commute and letting our office workers work at home. Our office hours are now from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (Mon – Fri). [*Update: From 19 April 2022, our office hours restore from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm (Mon – Fri).]
- Providing hygiene kits including N95 masks, face shields, wet tissues and sanitisers for employees when working on sites.
While protecting our employees’ well-being, we hope to ensure quality products and services to you as always. Hope that the tough time will be over soon and everyone is safe and healthy!

Safety Precautions in response to COVID-19

Protecting Employees, Warehouse Visitors and the Community
- The health and well-being of our employees, clients and the community are our biggest concern. To ensure safety, we encouraged our staff to work remotely at the peak of coronavirus outbreak. We provide disinfectant supplies regularly to our employees when they come to the workplace.
- Before entering office and warehouse, all employees and visitors have to wear surgical masks, measure body temperature and disinfect hands.
- To reduce large gathering, we cancelled company activities and meetings with clients (for instance, we had live streams of generator load testing instead). We also restricted international travel and minimised domestic site visits.
Ensuring Product Safety and Timely Delivery
- We understand client’s concerns on our product safety and quality, which are also our top priorities. We have been taking measures to make our production lines clean and safe by frequently cleaning and disinfecting. To prevent the risk of coronavirus infection, we provide repacking service and clean the products before shipment. We also implemented social distancing for our technicians to work independently.
- According to a study in the journal The Lancet Microbe, the COVID-19 virus lasts at most seven days on common surfaces. Given our delivery time (products depart from our warehouse to client’s destinations) is over seven days in general, we are confident that our products are delivered safely and on time.
